Press Release Source: WorldWater & Power Corp. WorldWater & Power Signs $544,320 Contract with California's First Missionary Baptist Church to Build Solar Power System Thursday June 1, 12:57 pm ET PENNINGTON, N.J., June 1, 2006 (PRIMEZONE) -- WorldWater & Power Corp. (OTC BB:WWAT.OB - News), developer and marketer of proprietary high-power solar systems, today announced the signing of a contract with the First Missionary Baptist Church of Littlerock, California to build a solar power and distribution system. Littlerock is a small city in Los Angles County approximately 40 miles northeast of the City of Los Angeles. The photovoltaic panels will be installed on the rooftop of the church's main sanctuary building and the WorldWater system will run in parallel with the church's public electric utility, Southern California Edison. The contract is subject to financing and approval of rebate. ADVERTISEMENT In making the announcement, Quentin T. Kelly, Chairman of WorldWater & Power Corp. commented, ``First Missionary is one of a growing number of California organizations, businesses, agribusinesses and homeowners investing in WorldWater solar systems and taking advantage of the state's liberal rebate and incentives programs, which along with New Jersey, are the highest in the nation. It's a wise decision for the church with immediate and substantial economic benefits.'' During times when the church is not using electricity, solar power generated by the WorldWater & Power system will send electricity to the public utility and earn First Missionary ``net metering'' kilowatt-hour credits that can be used to pay for grid electricity as and when needed. The California Public Utility Commission's Solar Initiative Rebate Program will pay for approximately 25% of the cost of First Missionary's solar system.
