Xemplar Discovers New Uraniferous Alaskite Body at Warmbad

Mr. W.G.McDowall reports,

XEMPLAR DISCOVERS NEW URANIFEROUS ALASKITE BODY AT ITS WARMBAD PROJECT IN NAMIBIA

Vancouver, July 16th 2007 - Xemplar Energy Corp (TSX-Venture: XE; Frankfurt: E7R) ("Xemplar" or the "Company" is pleased to update the progress at its Warmbad Project (Exclusive Prospecting Licenses EPL's 3567 and 3568) in Namibia.

Field mapping and follow-up ground truthing of airborne radiometric anomalies has resulted in the identification of a new uraniferous Alaskite body in the northeast portion of the licence area. This body was discovered on the farm Aluriesfontein 308 and appears to resemble an uraniferous alaskitic batholith. Batholiths are large emplacement structures that are formed by rising plutonic masses. The uraniferous Alaskite body has a surface area of approximately four (4) square kilometers and is in a nearly perfect square shape. The rock type at Aluriesfontein is identical to the alaskites found in the southern portion of the licence area. At this point, the depth extent of the Aluriesfontein body is not known. The newly identified Aluriesfontein body has an anomalous and distinct radiometric signature and will be included in the planned drill program for the Warmbad area.

The Fugro airborne survey at Warmbad is nearing completion. With the discovery of the new uraniferous Alaskite body on the farm Aluriesfontein 308, the airborne survey has been extended from 16,000 to 22,500 line kilometers. To date approximately 17,000 line kilometers have been flown. This survey is acquiring multi-channel radiometric and magnetic data along lines 50 metres apart at a height of 20 metres. A preliminary interpretation of the data acquired to date shows that the survey is effectively mapping the alaskite bodies and is also mapping the surface uranium mineralisation within the alaskites themselves. The survey is expected to be completed in 10 days time.

Drilling at Warmbad will commence once the airborne survey has been completed and the resulting data interpreted.
