GEMINI EXPLORATIONS INC REPORTS FURTHER SAMPLING RESULTS FOR THE LOS CHORROS GOLD MINE

~Vein samples ranging up to 243 g/tonne Au with an average of 41.94 g/tonne Au ~

Calgary, AB --October 25, 2007 -- Gemini Explorations Inc, ("Gemini" OTCBB: GXPI, is very pleased to report further sampling results from the Los Chorros Gold Mine, a producing gold property in the El Bagre-Zargoza mining district, department of Antioquia, Colombia.

The vein samplings analyzed are of the continuous chip type along the principal vein with thickness varying between 0.20 m and 1.15 m and an average of 0.63 meters. The samples reported in Table 2 below ranged up to 243 g/tonne Au showing excellent consistency overall. Gemini recently reported vein sample results from Los Chorros of 6.4 g/tonne Au to 190.6g/tonne Au on September 19, 2007. The combined averages of the two reports to date are 41.94 g/tonne Au.

The results of the tailing samples could indicate that the veins carry a high percentage of free gold, although this situation must be confirmed later with further lab analysis.

Der normale Verbraucher stöhnt. Er kann sich auf einen teueren Winter einstellen. Der Ölpreis steigt und steigt. Was den einen sorgt, kann den anderen freuen. So reiben sich viele Ölfirmen derzeit die Hände, sie wittern das große Geschäft. Zu den Profiteuren des Augenblicks zählt ganz klar auch Platina Energy (O5Y; WKN: A0ER3Y). Das Unternehmen aus Wyoming ist einer der Gewinner der derzeitigen Ölpreise.

Die großen, multinationalen Ölgiganten können durch den Ölpreis mehr als nur eine goldene Nase verdienen. Übersehen wird dabei oft, dass auch kleine Unternehmen im Ölgeschäft sehr erfolgreich aktiv sind. Eines davon ist Platina Energy. Das Unternehmen ist seit 2005 in der Exploration und der Förderung von Öl- und Gasreserven aktiv. Wie erfolgreich dieses Modell am Markt angenommen wird, zeigt ein Blick auf den Kursverlauf der vergangenen Monate. Im August hatte Platina sowohl in den USA als auch in Frankfurt einen Boden ausgebildet. Von diesen Kursen hat man sich inzwischen wieder deutlich entfernt. In den USA ist es zwischenzeitlich nach charttechnischen Kaufsignalen sogar wieder zu einer Kursverdopplung gekommen, bevor Gewinnmitnahmen den Höhenflug stoppten. In Frankfurt hat sich der Kurs noch nicht ganz so deutlich nach oben entwickelt. Im Umkehrschluss heißt dies aber auch: Hier gibt es noch etwas Luft nach oben, um zu den amerikanischen Verhältnissen aufzuschließen.

Gründe dafür bestehen auf jeden Fall. Denn das Unternehmen ist unter anderem durch die neuen Rekordpreise am Ölmarkt immer mehr wert. 93,00 Dollar und mehr kostet derzeit das Barrel Öl am Weltmarkt. Noch im Frühjahr war das Barrel für 65,00 Dollar zu haben. Und selbst Ende August musste man „nur“ 70,00 Dollar für ein Barrel hinlegen. Innerhalb von zwei Monaten erhöht sich der Preis damit um mehr als 30 Prozent. Damit müssen auch die Reserven auf den Liegenschaften von Platina Energy neu bewertet werden. Das gehört zu einer guten Unternehmensführung einfach dazu. Man muss wissen, wie viel Wert die Rohstoffe im Boden haben, um das Unternehmen korrekt beurteilen zu können.

Die bewiesenen Funde auf den produzierenden Feldern und auch die bewiesenen Reserven auf den Liegenschaften von Platina Energy sind durch die Ölpreissteigerungen sehr deutlich im Wert gestiegen. Sie sind fast raketenhaft nach oben geschnellt. So eine Entwicklung erlebt man nicht oft. Aber die gesamte Ölbranche kann derzeit ein paar Champusflaschen öffnen!

Beim Management von Platina kann man sogar mehr als nur ein paar Flaschen aufmachen. Denn das Timing des Preisanstiegs beim Öl kann für die US-Amerikaner kaum besser sein. Noch vor ein paar Wochen wäre ein solcher Anstieg ziemlich ungünstig gewesen. Jetzt kann man von einem perfekten Zeitpunkt sprechen. Denn in den vergangenen Wochen hat man über neue Zukäufe verhandelt. Da ist jetzt alles im Sack, die Verhandlungen wurden erfolgreich beendet, die Details sind abgeklärt. All dies wurde noch zu den „alten“ Ölpreisen, die deutlich niedriger lagen, vereinbart. Auch wenn dies keiner sagt, hat sich das bestimmt auch für Platina positiv im Preis niedergeschlagen.

Investoren haben dies bereits erkannt, man engagiert sich wieder verstärkt bei Platina. Die Bewertung des Unternehmens an der Börse hinkt jedoch noch immer ganz klar hinterher. Denn das starke Plus bei der Bewertung der Liegenschaften hat sich noch nicht in dem Maße an der Börse durchgesetzt, da gibt es noch Nachholbedarf – zur Freude all derer, die bereits Aktien von Platina besitzen.
