Essential Innovations Technology Corp. provides cutting-edge Geoexchange solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications as both a manufacturer of proprietary geothermal heat pump technology and as a Geoexchange energy service company. The Company was incorporated in April 2001, and it has four wholly owned subsidiaries located in British Columbia, Canada and in Hong Kong, SAR, China.
Geoexchange technology harnesses the earth's clean, renewable thermal energy stored just below the surface or in large bodies of water for purposes of heating, cooling, domestic hot water and/or dehumidification. A Geoexchange system is used to "exchange" the earth's natural heating and cooling properties between a building and the ground. This non-combustion transfer of energy is the source of performance and environmental superiority, as Geoexchange systems need only a small amount of electrical energy to then capture, move and concentrate a large amount of free energy provided by the earth.

Essential Innovations Technology Corp. (OTCBB: ESIV) provides cutting-edge Geoexchange solutions for residential, commercial and industrial applications as both a Geoexchange energy service company and as a manufacturer of proprietary geothermal heat pump technology.
Essential Innovations manufactures and distributes its proprietary cutting edge GeoExchange System, the "EI Elemental Series", in Vancouver, Canada. The EI Elemental family of products are high efficiency, eco-friendly comfort systems providing heating, cooling, dehumidification as well as domestic hot water production for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
GeoExchange earth loops are a series of high density, polyethylene pipes buried in the ground/water and connected to the GeoExchange unit. A few feet below the surface, earth temperatures remain relatively constant and moderate. During the heating season, heat is extracted by the loop system and moved into the home or building. The earth serves as a "heat source". A GeoExchange unit can also cool. During the cooling season, heat is extracted and transferred into the cool earth through the loop system or well-water. The earth serves as a "heat sink".

The GeoExchange system consists of three integrated components:
Geoexchange technology is proven through 20+ years of implementation. It has the lowest CO2 emissions of all "green" technologies. There are 2 million GeoExchange installations worldwide, and the number of GeoExchange installations is growing by 30% every year. The Environmental Protection Agency and the U.S. Department of Energy recognize Geoexchange technology as "the most energy-efficient, environmentally clean, and cost effective space conditioning system available today."

A Geoexchange Energy Service Company (Contractor) examines new or existing non-residential or residential project opportunities and subsequently designs, engineers, manufactures, installs, and in some cases manages innovative geoexchange energy solutions for that specific application. The Company provides these solutions through a TURNKEY program that offers comprehensive, customized geoexchange energy services to the customer. In return, the Geoexchange Energy Service Company is paid a premium for its services, whether on a standard purchase contract, or on a long-term finance or lease-to own value proposition. To the benefit of the end user, the latter reduces or eliminates customer responsibility for the up-front equipment purchase, operation, service and maintenance.
Essential Innovations as a domestic Geoexchange Energy Service Company, utilizes proprietary turnkey geoexchange systems and solutions to deliver heating, cooling, dehumidification as well as domestic hot water supply. Essential Innovations unique "One-stop shop" approach to geoexchange reduces technological uncertainty and concerns over system design and performance associated with geoexchange systems by incorporating all of the requisite pockets of technological expertise required for ‘best practices’ design and implementation in one concise and cohesive package. In addition, long-term financing or lease payment programs may be structured within the turnkey solution to enable the end-user to gain system ownership while at the same time overcoming the initial high cost of capital often associated with geothermal technology. In the international marketplace, Essential Innovations is intent on being recognized as a manufacturer and distributor of the most cutting-edge geothermal heat pumps systems available in the World today and is dedicated to long-term expansion programs focused on sales and distribution of it’s technology into and throughout overseas markets.
Essential Innovations announced in mid-April that it had successfully continued to raise on-going financing for the Corporation in the form of private placement investment and unsecured loans in excess of $1,100,000 USD since May 2007. The funds invested in the Company from the sale of Rule 144 shares and non-interest bearing, non-recourse loans, were utilized to provide the Corporation with the capital necessary to effectively execute its continued growth and re-structuring plan as had been previously described in the last public news release of May 11, 2007. During the remainder of Fiscal 2008, the Company intends to focus on the aggressive ramp-up of its manufacturing and distribution activities for its proprietary Geoexchange heat pump technology.
With regards to additional financing, the Company is now currently engaged in multiple discussions and negotiations with other outside equity investment sources and/or strategic business partnership candidates that could be capable of providing the Company with a larger scale equity financing during the Calendar year of 2008. The proceeds of such financing would then allow the Company to further expand operations, move in to full-scale production of it's Geoexchange product line, launch a widespread sales and marketing campaign, take-out senior secured debt, begin working on further existing project opportunities and installations and as well as to provide some general working capital.
Says Jason McDiarmid, President/CEO, "As our Company moves through Fiscal Year 2008 and looks ahead to 2009, we are extremely thankful for the continued support that we have seen from those longstanding shareholders and management of the Company who have willingly re-invested significant capital over the last 12 month period so as to ensure the Company will have long-term success. The business relationships we have now solidified over this last year, most particularly in relation to the distribution and installation of our EI Elemental Geoexchange product line, should now provide a firm base to drive our business forward not only domestically, but into the international markets for many years to come. With the prospect of a larger financing round in the latter part of this year to provide to us the necessary capitalization to implement our overall business objectives now looking extremely promising, we remain ever confident that the future of the Company shall be a profitable one, and our many shareholders will achieve a strong long-term return on their investment."

Renewable energy has become big business. Large commercial banks are starting to take notice, and several are "mainstreaming" renewable energy investments in their lending portfolios. Other large investors are entering the renewable energy market, including venture capital investors and leading investment banks like Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs. Major investments and acquisitions have been made in recent years by leading global companies, such as GE, Siemens, Shell, BP, Sanyo, and Sharp.
Half a billion dollars goes to developing countries each year as development assistance for renewable energy projects, training, and market support, with the German Development Finance Group, the World Bank Group, and the Global Environment Facility (GEF) providing the majority of these funds, and dozens of other donors and programs providing the rest. Government support for renewable energy was on the order of $10 billion in 2004 for the United States and Europe combined, including direct support ("on- budget") and support from marketbased policy mechanisms ("off-budget"). This included more than $700 million per year in research and development spending.
It has been estimated that there were 1.6 Billion Buildings or structures (residential, commercial or industrial) in the World in 2004, of which it has been noted that Geoexchange (Geothermal Heat Pumps), were applied in only 2 million.

IRW-PRESS: ESSENTIAL Innovations: Geoexchange-Technologieanbieter Essential Innovations Technology Corp. (News) (ESIV) meldet Details über The Vietnam Joint Venture Group
Geoexchange-Technologieanbieter Essential Innovations Technology Corp. (ESIV) meldet Details über The Vietnam Joint Venture Group
Bellingham, Washington, 10. Juni 2008 Essential Innovations Technology Corp.

Ekistics has completed the design work for over 35 residential and resort projects in China and are currently working on 15 new large scale master planned communities in twelve different cities in China, including Beijing&Shanghai.
Paul Rosenau, President of Ekistics, is currently spearheading the design of seven new 5-star resort golf course communities in China and Vietnam. These are: Sanya Four Seasons Golf Resort: a 300 room hotel and 36-hole golf course in Sanya, China; Du Jiang Yan Golf Resort: a 700 home and 36-hole golf course community in Chengdu, China; Hui Dong Golf Resort: a 300 unit, 18-hole golf course project in Hui Zhou, China; Tuyen Lam Lake Golf Resort: a 550 unit, 18- hole golf course resort in Dalat, Vietnam; Golden Sea Lake Resort: a 400 home and 36-hole golf course community in Beijing, China; Wan Sheng Ba Golf Resort: a 500 home and 18-hole golf course resort project in Chongqing, China; and Cu Hin Golf Resort: a 400 home and 36-hole golf course resort and hotel project in Cam Ranh, Vietnam.
Each of these projects represents a significant opportunity to employ Geoexchange technology and are being looked at as possible projects for which the Geoexchange technology manufactured by the Vietnam Joint Venture companies between EI Asia, TT, and Ekistics can or may be employed.
Stated Jason McDiarmid, President/CEO, ESIV, "Under the terms of the joint venture agreements EI Asia will hold a 75% stake in the manufacturing and distribution company, and a 40% stake in the Vietnamese sales and installation business. The Tien Thanh&Ekistics cooperative will then equally share 25% and 60% respective holdings in each of the JV companies. As per the understanding between our parties, TT&Ekistics are required to invest $750,000 USD for initial capitalization and as their financial contribution to the joint ventures for which they will then be assigned their equity ownership. In turn, technology, engineering, design,&installation expertise is to be provided by Essential Innovations, as it's initial contribution to the JV companies.
Separate of the JV between our parties, TT&Ekistics have already purchased and own the land where the manufacturing facility is to be constructed. The JV companies will then enter into a long-term lease arrangement with TT&Ekistics for the exclusive use of the building. In this regards, ESIV management and Ekistics architectural specialists have now collaborated to develop preliminary design plans for this factory. The building is to be constructed on a site that has been purchased in the high-profile Hiep Phouc industrial park and customs clearance zone located and under development within Ho Chi Minh City. Construction for the manufacturing plant is set to get underway in the next 60 - 90 days, with a current target of being able to begin light production and equipment testing in the Spring of 2009, with the full-scale launch of the global manufacturing and distribution operation scheduled for late 2009. These joint venture companies are a culmination of a number of years of planning and efforts by ESIV to make a tangible and legitimate mark in the Asian marketplace. By moving the manufacturing of our leading edge Geoexchange technology to Vietnam it will allow us to become even more competitive in the domestic market and aggressively pursue distribution channels particularly throughout the United States. The opportunity to take advantage of the demand for Geoexchange technology across Asia in general is enormous. That said, with the added and unique benefit of the clientele already working throughout China and Vietnam with Ekistics and it's President Paul Rosenau becoming available to the joint ventures for the purposes of promoting the use of Geothermal heating&cooling, it places the joint ventures in a truly exceptional position to be able to make a visible and verifiable long-term impact on the Geoexchange industry overall."

"As it relates specifically to the sales revenues for our manufacturing subsidiary, Essential Innovations Corp. ("EIC"), we're very happy to report revenue growth of 61% for the 6 months ended April 30, 2008. In particular, this is representative of the strongest second quarter in our firms' history with our manufacturing business recording $200,867 USD in direct sales of our proprietary Geoexchange equipment during the period. As we look ahead to results for the third quarter of Fiscal 2008, given that EIC presently has some $500,000 CAD (+/-) worth of equipment in production or as backlog, we anticipate that EIC can achieve a quarterly growth rate on par with, or even greater than this current rate, when the EIC sales figures for the quarter ended July 31, 2008, are formally reported later this year," said Jason McDiarmid, President/CEO, ESIV.

Essential Innovations Technology (ESIV) - Investment in Geothermal Sector on the Rise
CNBC calls the geothermal sector of the utilities industry a “hot” commodity.
“The industry is on the cusp of what could be an extraordinary growth period,” confirms Mark Taylor, an analyst covering this sector for New Energy Finance, a clean energy financial research firm.
Billions of dollars are moving into geothermal projects around the world, giving the Energy sub sector, enormous potential. The geothermal market is particularly strong in Canada, the UK, Australia, and New Zealand but it has lately been growing in the U.S. Nearly ½ of new investment in the sub sector is being spent in the United States. Why are geothermal projects so prolific? For one reason, heating and cooling buildings requires enormous amounts of energy, which has, up till now, led to harmful carbon emissions. Keeping American homes cool this summer will lead to three tons of extra carbon dioxide in the atmosphere. Cooling buildings accounts for 1/6 of American energy use.
Geothermal heat exchange systems conserve energy and reduce dependence on foreign oil—two planks of every politician’s platform. Every 100,000 home equipped with geothermal exchange systems reduced foreign oil consumption by 2.15 billion barrels annually. This same number of homes so equipped will reduce energy consumption by 799 million kilowatt hours annually.
Consequently, the geothermal industry in the United States is gaining momentum. Total geothermal power usage could triple over the next few years.
According the Geothermal Energy Association, new geothermal projects in over a dozen states represent over $11 billion in new investment.
Essential Innovation Technology is poised to take advantage of new opportunities in the American marketplace.
While it continues to extend overseas, Essential Innovation Technology remains active in the North American marketplace for consultation and design assistance necessary for many residential and commercial mixed-use subdivision projects.

Essential Innovations Technology (ESIV) - Government Support Bolsters the Geothermal Industry
Essential Innovations Technology stands to benefit from the new U.S. legislation that rewards environmentally responsible companies.
According to Karl Gawell, executive director of the Geothermal Energy Association, legislation related to climate change is driving the geothermal industry.
More and more states are requiring that utility companies derive energy from green sources.
The “Energy Independence and Tax Relief Act of 2008,” introduced on June 12, 2008 by Senate Finance Committee Chair Max Baucus (D-MT), should provide further incentives for the alternative energy industry, including an extension and modification of the renewable energy production tax credit.
U.S. production credits have been working in the geothermal industry’s favor for some time now. U.S. production credits can account for 1/3 of the cost of an alternative energy project. With production credits in place, geothermal energy service companies can offer competitive rates.
In Canada the geothermal industry receives support from the CDC. The CGC was created in 2003 at the initiative of the Canadian Electricity Association (CEA) and industry stakeholders with support from Natural Resources Canada’s (NRCan) Renewable Energy Deployment Initiative (REDI) to foster development of the ground source heat pump industry in Canada.
Essential Innovations Technology manufactures and distributes one of the most advanced Geoexchange systems in the world. The EI Elemental products are high efficiency, eco-friendly comfort systems, providing heating, cooling, dehumidification as well as domestic hot water production for residential, commercial and industrial applications.
