Gemini will be focused on the development and exploitation of the La Planada Gold Project in the southern region of Colombia. Gemini explorations newly acquired La Planada property is located in the municipality of Sotomayor, department of the Nariño, in southwestern Colombia. Access to the property is approximately 80 km from Pasto the capital city of the Nariño department by open road. The project covers 45 hectares and is composed of Dagua Group Upper Cretaceous quartzites and siliceous siltstones intruded by a granodiorite plug. There are at least 3 different crosscutting vein sets. The principal vein ranges between 0.4 m and 2.0 m in width. Other veins range between 3 and 20 cm (or more) in width. All carry some sulphides, and free gold was seen in both quartz and with the sulphides. On, Feburary 21st, 2007, GXPI announced that it has reached an agreement in principle to contract the services of Minera Primecap Geological Services SA (MPGS) of Medellin, Colombia to assist in the development and exploitation of Gemini's wholly owned La Planada Gold Project in southern Colombia. MPGS have worked extensively on the L aPlanada property and were instrumental in Gemini's decision to purchase this key property in the Los Andes Sotomayor Gold Belt of southern Colombia.

La Planada Gold Project (Nariño, Colombia)

Gemini explorations newly acquired La Planada property is located in the municipality of Sotomayor, department of the Nariño, in southwestern Colombia. Access to the property is approximately 80 km from Pasto the capital city of the Nariño department by open road. The project covers 45 hectares and it has an exploitation (mining) license (#17486) for a period of 10 years, and is renewable for an additional 10 years. This license is effective from November 28, 2001. An environment management plan was issued by the Colombian government in November 21, 2001. In addition the owners are required to present a production report every three months.

About La Planada

La Planada property is composed of Dagua Group Upper Cretaceous quartzites and siliceous siltstones intruded by a granodiorite plug. Surface exposure is excellent and there were numerous workings at various elevations that can be roughly traced from one elevation to another. The width of the zone (i.e. within the property boundaries) appears much greater than other surrounding properties. There are at least 3 different crosscutting vein sets. The principal vein ranges between 0.4 m and 2.0 m in width. Other veins range between 3 and 20 cm (or more) in width. All carry some sulphides, and free gold was seen in both quartz and with the sulphides. Disseminated sulphides were seen in the host rock sediments, and these will probably contain low-grade gold values, although these have yet to be lab verified. Samples should be taken from two newly reported workings, and of mixed vein and host rock material and it is anticipated that we will get good values from the vein and sulphide material. Panned concentrates from both vein material and tailings showed fine to medium gold.

Assuming the average grade across host rock and vein material on La Planada produces a grade similar to that at surrounding properties there is every reason to think that the deposit could be processed by bulk mining of the entire zone. The ore would be processed using the same method, and probably the same plant, as that proposed for surrounding properties.

La Planada Mineral Composition

The entire Planada property has excellent rock exposure. The surface could be stripped and then, samples could be taken in vertical channels across both vein and host rock. However, this work would take a considerable amount of time and would still require a drill program to outline grade and tonnage below surface. Therefore assuming positive results from the initial sampling program, near-term exploration should go directly to a reverse circulation drill program to confirm tonnage and grade of the deposit. A drill rig could be brought in by truck to the general area of La Planada property. Some road building to make movement of the drill easier will be required and may be more cost effective than movement of the rig by helicopter. Nevertheless it is anticipated that some helicopter time will probably be required. A series of small drill pads would have to be prepared on the surface of the deposit. The co-ordinates for the property boundaries are required, and the position of known veins and samples need to be positioned in relation to those boundaries. At this point specific drill pads would be selected and sites would be cleared. Those pads would continue in a line upslope from base to top of the known mineralization. They would be collared at 50 m intervals along that line. As drilling progressed more of that face would have to be cleared of vegetation and leveled and a parallel series of pads would have to be built 50 m on either side of the original line of holes. This work will require some blasting of rock to produce those pads. Vertical reverse circulation holes would be drilled from these pads, with holes ranging up to 200 m in depth (if capable) at highest elevation and 100 m in depth at lowest elevation, for a total depth of this first phase of drilling of roughly 1000 m. Dependent on recovery of material, samples would be taken every 2 to 5 m down each hole. Samples would be analyzed for gold by Fire Assay, with A.A. or gravimetric finish. This work will allow an estimate of grade and tonnage for La Planada Project.

Current Status

Most of the gold is fine. Upon completion of at least an initial round of drilling (Line #1) and assuming favorable results for grade of material, a bench test would be required to determine fineness of the gold, amount of sulphides and what metals are present, and from that what type of processing plant would give the best gold recovery. If there is sufficient coarse gold a coarse gold circuit (e.g. a vibrating table) such as that seen at Solferino would probably be set up. If there is significant gold carried on the surface of sulphides then a sulphide floatation circuit would also be required. However, the bulk of the gold is fine and low grade (1.5 to 4 g/tonne) and is expected to be recovered with a large heap leach pad. Assuming the average grade of 1.5 to 4g/tonne and that sampling to date confirms continuity of mineralization to a depth of 200m, then the entire block could be mined and processed. A block 200m deep X 300m wide X 400 m long, with an average density of 2.45g/cc would produce 59 millions tonnes of ore with a cut-off grade of 1.5g/tonne gold. That translates to over 3,150,000 troy ounces of gold.

Senor Richard Apraez (a local consultant) assures the company that there will be no problem with setting up a large-scale processing plant in the area. That is, it would cause little if any displacement of people or farms. It will disrupt the local economy as there will be a large influx of new jobs to move and process all that ore. As long as the processing plant was properly maintained there was little concern for contamination. This is an important consideration as we would be making use of at least cyanide and sulphuric acid. We need to consider where we might put such a processing plant and are currently seeking a suitable location for that facility.

Aber man kann auch hier (comdirect) Abwärtskanal erkennen, den wir seit Juli haben. Wenn man jetzt die Channel Geraden anlegt, sieht man das unser gestriger SK ganau an der oberen Begrenzung liegt.
Das steigende Volumen un der MACD zeigen deuten auf einen Ausbruch aus diesen Abwärtskanal hin.
Das gute daran, ich kann noch keinen Wiederstand nach oben feststellen

Gemini Explorations Inc. Updates Sampling Program From the Los Chorros Gold Mine Project Wednesday October 3, 2:30 am ET CALGARY, AB----Oct 3, 2007 -- Gemini Explorations Inc. ("Gemini" (OTC BB:GXPI.OB - News) is pleased ap Geological Services (MPGS) expects additional sampling results from the Los Chorros Gold Project to be available in the next ten to fourteen days. Gemini recently reported vein sample results from Los Chorros of 6.4 g/tonne Au to 190.6g/tonne Au on September 19, 2007. The Los Chorros Mine is a producing gold property in the El Bagre-Zargoza mining district, department of Antioquia, Colombia.

The sampling program continues to focus on extending the known mineralized zone of the Los Chorros Gold Mine. The vetiforme mineralization is represented by a vein with a thickness of 1,00mt/average that fits in sericitization schist quartz and graphite with general direction that varies from N30deg-45degW/40deg-48degSW constituted by quartz with sulfides, mainly pyrite, chalcopyrite, abundant galena, estibina and bornita in a percentage that varies between 60% and 80% locally.

The Los Chorros Mine is currently being mined with extremely antiquated equipment and this report further solidifies Gemini's belief that the project could be turned into a highly efficient producing gold project with low capital costs. Current mining operations at Los Chorros recover a low percentage of the available gold and precious metals present on the property. Gemini's plans are to build a modern processing facility at Los Chorros with far greater recovery rates of the gold and other precious metals present. Gemini is working closely with RMS-Ross Corporation, a designer, manufacturer and distributor of an extensive range of quality mining machinery, to design a modern, highly efficient processing and gold recovery system for Los Chorros. The plant would initially run at 30 to 50 tonnes/day with production doubling every 90 days during the first year. MPGS geologist Juan Restrepo reported that 50 tonnes per day production yielding an average grade of 12 grams per tonne Au (gold) would produce U$ 3,125,000 per year and a 100 tonne per day production rate would produce over U$ 6,250,000 of net cash flow after all costs. MPGS estimates that production in the second year could increase to a 300 tonnes per day yielding U$ 18,750,000 net cash flow to the company. These estimates are based on U$650 per ounce gold with U$200 per ounce operating and production costs netting U$450 per ounce. Gemini has purchased an 80 percent controlling interest in the mine and has secured first rights of refusal on the remaining 20 percent interest.

The principal exposed vein in the Los Chorros working tunnels measures up to 2 meters thick and dips down at 45 degrees. Visible sulphides and massive sulphides are exposed and run from 2% up to 70%. Visible gold is present and samples assayed along a 30 meter section of the principal vein exposed between 2 faults returned values between 15 grams/tonne Au and 250 grams/tonne Au. The Los Chorros Mine presents an excellent opportunity for Gemini to take advantage of the near record high gold bullion prices and provides an internal source of cash flow to fund its ongoing development and exploitation of its wholly owned La Planada Gold Project, a potential multi million ounce gold deposit in southern Colombia.

Historically one of the largest gold producing countries in the world, Colombia's vast mineral potential has remained virtually unexplored using modern exploration and mining techniques. The Department (Province/State) of Antioquia alone produces over 1,000,000 ounces of gold per year currently, and most of it is produced from antiquated production equipment and facilities. Driven by a new era of political and economic stability and an investment-friendly mining code, Colombia has emerged as one of the resource sector's most attractive new mining frontiers.
