Angeregt durch einen anderen Thread, in dem es um eine Frick Empfehlung ging, hab ich hier vielleicht was für den einen oder anderen.  Ich bin selber mit dabei und konnte schon einiges an Gewinn mitnehmen.

http://www.globexmining.com/

Scheint also einiges an Potenzial mitzubringen

Globex Mining klotzt, wo andere kleckern

BELL MOUNTAIN GOLD MINE

Churchill County, Nevada

(Click on property name above to display map)

Property:

The Bell Mountain property is located in Churchill County, Nevada, approximately 39 miles (63 km) southeast of Fallon. There are 26 lode on Bureau of Land Management land.

Ownership:

The claims are owned 100% by Globex Nevada, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of Globex. The property was acquired from N.A. Degerstrom, Inc. which retains a 2% net smelter return royalty. Globex Nevada has the option to buy-out the NSR by paying US$167,000.

Geology:
The property's host rocks are siliceous pyroclastic rhyolites. Two major epithermal quartz-adularia vein systems have been identified on the property. The veins contain gold and silver as electrum and silver as chlorargyrite and argentite. The vein systems on the property cover an area of 0.9 square miles (2.3 km2), of which only 4% has been tested by drilling to an average depth of 25 metres, leaving a large area open to exploration.

A historical mineral resource (non NI-43-101 conformable) stands at 2.1 million tons grading 0.04 ounces per ton gold and 1.2 ounces per ton silver.

Previous Work:
The property was originally staked in 1914. In 1918, Tonopah Mining Co. conducted underground development and sampling with some additional sampling conducted in 1948. A 270-metre long adit was driven in the 1970's.

In 1978, Bell Mountain Mining Co., a subsidiary of American Pyramid Resources Inc., did a substantial underground sampling program including driving the 180-metre Varga adit along the Stockton Vein (Spurr). A comprehensive feasibility study was completed in 1981, which returned positive metallurgical test results. In 1984, Santa Fe Mining Co. drilled 51 reverse circulation holes principally in the Varga area and ten holes in the Sphinx area. Between 1988 and 1993, N.A. Degerstrom drilled 104 holes, completed a technical feasibility study and permitted the property for open-pit mining and heap leaching.

In 1996, ECU Inc. completed a first phase drill program on the Bell Mountain property. ECU drilled five holes in three zones for 2,388 feet. Best results were returned by hole 96-5 which hit a 189 foot-long mineralized interval of 0.03 oz/T gold equivalent (Au+Ag), which included a section grading 0.058 oz/T gold equivalent over a length of 82 feet. Additional drilling was planned to follow-up these results, but, never completed.

In mid 2004, Globex optioned the property to Platte River Mines who undertook a program of surface and underground sampling followed in late 2004 by diamond drilling. This drilling while intersecting the gold localizing structure, failed to expand the resource.

HUNTERS POINT URANIUM GOLD SHOWING (6 PROPERTIES)   Atwater Township, Quebec
NTS 31L/15

Property:

The Hunters Point Property consists of 13 cells totalling 763 hectares in the northeast corner of Atwater Township, Temiscamingue County, Quebec.   In early 2005, an additional 5 properties were staked to cover areas of known uranium mineralization.   These are the following:   Grindstone Lake Showing:                 - 4 cells  -  220 ha,  Booth Twp, Quebec. Grindstone Lake West Showing:       - 6 cells  - 359 ha,  Booth Twp, Quebec. Pants Lake Showing:                           - 3 cells - 177 ha,  McLachlin Twp, Quebec. Lac des Loups Showing:                    - 4 cells - 235 ha,  Gaulin Twp, Quebec. Turner Falls Showing:                         - 8 cells - 471 ha,  Villedieu Twp, Quebec.   Access: The claims may be reached by road from St. Placide de Bearn, 35 miles to the northwest or by float plane from Kipawa, 17 miles to the southwest.

History: (Hunters Point)

The original showing was discovered in 1957 by Garfield Jones of Kipawa who subsequently optioned the ground to Belleterre Quebec Mines Limited. Belleterre Quebec Mines Limited initially drilled 12 short holes in the showing area and drove a tunnel into the showing going southward at an angle of 25 degrees for a length of seventy-five feet. Subsequently, a second discovery was make about ½ mile southwest of the original showing. This led to a total of 12,062 feet of shallow drilling as well as some stripping and surface sampling being undertaken on both showing areas and the enveloping band of quartzite.

In 1967, Multi Minerals Limited acquired the property and drilled 17 holes totalling 5,043 feet principally in the main showing and southwest showing area. In 1969, Gunnar Mining Limited, engaged Canadian Aero-Mineral Surveys to fly an airborne Gamma Ray Spectrometer survey over a wide belt of rocks including the showing area. The Hunters Point showing was recorded as a strong anomaly. Many other anomalous conditions were also located.

In 1980, the area was staked by Géoconseils Jack Stoch Ltée., which optioned the property to Canadian Occidental Petroleum Limited. Occidental flew an airborne spectrometer survey over the claim area as well as the strike extension of the gold-uranium bearing quartzite. Subsequently, they performed mapping and humus and rock geochemistry on the claim group along with limited scintillometer work. No follow-up diamond drilling was performed. The property has been idle since 1985.

Geology

General Geology:  The property falls within Precambrian Grenville type rocks consisting of formations of parageneiss, quartzite, granite gneiss and garnet gneiss. The property in a regional sense is on the western outer edge of a large basinal structure which may be a synclinorium.

Local Geology:   The main showing and south showing are confined to a band of normally pale grey sericitic quartzite which has an average width of 200 feet but which widens to the northeast (up to 300 feet). Sericite makes up from 5 to 25 percent of the rock unit. The quartzite is sandwiched between biotite and hornblende paragneisses.

Rock units in the showing area strike roughly N45oE and dip southeast at from 55 to 80 degrees. Vertical joints striking N45 to 55W are common.

Economical Geology:  In the main showing area, high uranium oxide and gold values obtained. The uranium occurs in the following forms - pichblende, uranophane, soddyite and cupriferous sklowdowskite. Significant gold assays are recorded but no free gold was observed nor is there any record of its provinance of form.

Values of lead, silver and minor copper are noted and the following sulphides were recorded in one ore sample, pyrite, chalcopyrite, pyrrhotite, bornite, covellite, galena and tetrahedrite.

Two grab samples from the mineralized zone returned the following:   Sample 1 Sample 2  U3O8   7.7%   3.5%  Gold (oz/T) 0.70 0.17  Silver (oz/T) 0.22 0.67  Lead    0.83%    0.37%  Copper    0.01%    0.01%

At the main showing, uranium values seem to be confined principally along beds of biotite-garnet schist within the quartzite. Three such beds were located in the main showing area with garnets attaining dimensions of up to 2 inches.

The main showing was channel sampled principally within the adit and assayed 1.14% U3O8 and 0.294 oz/ton Au over a strike length of 75 feet and an average width of one foot or 0.775% U3O8 and 0.212 oz/ton Au over a strike length of 120 feet and an average width of one foot.

Other showings within the main showing area are indicated particularly over the 1000 foot strike length to the northeast where outcrop is exposed.

In the south showing area, radioactivity was located over a strike length of 2000 feet over varying widths (up to 11 feet) on an extension of the quartzite band southwestward from the main showing. Values were found to generally correspond with red mica quartzite in the vicinity of garnet gneiss. Yellow staining is visible. Grab samples assayed 0.54% and 0.15% U3O8.

Grab samples taken by various parties during 1981 returned the following assays:   Au oz/ton U3O8   Main Showing   0.048

WEMINDJI PROJECT - DIAMOND (NSR)

UTM ZONE 17 - NTS 33D-C-E-F
(click on project name for location map)

Ownership:
In 2000 and 2001, Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. and its partners Aurogin Resources Ltd. and Sparton Resources Inc. acquired 100% interest in 616 cells (map designated claims) covering 35,657 hectares (approximatley 88,108 acres) in the Wemindji area of northwestern Quebec, east of James Bay. The cells were within UTM Zone 17, NTS 33D-C-E-F.

In early 2004, Globex, Aurogin and Sparton optioned the claims to a third party and each retained a 1% Net Diamond Royalty as well as a 1% Net Smelter Royalty on all minerals other than diamonds. Work since 2003 has caused the property to be reduced to 97 cells totalling 4,958.7 hectares which have exploration potential for diamonds and gold.

Regional Geology: The rocks underlying the proposed survey block are Archean in age and belong to the western extension of the La Grande structural sub-province. The La Grande sub-province is a volcano-plutonic belt, composed of 30% gneiss, 10% volcano-sedimentary rocks and 60% granitic plutonic rocks with mafic and ultramafic dykes. Very little geologic mapping has occurred in this region since Remick in 1976 (DP 446).

Structural: There are 3 kimberlite localizing structures intersecting in the Wemindji sector of James Bay Quebec. They are: 1) the Winisk River fault extension in Ontario that becomes the Sakami graben in Quebec; 2) Kapuskasing structural zone; and 3) the Otish lineaments.

1. Kimberlites of the Attawapiskat area are located where the Winisk River fault splays to the East and North, slightly SE of a NE trending Proterozoic diabase dyke.

The Winisk River fault continues its East and Northward migration forming an arcuate, approximately E-W structure and ends up as the Sakami graben in Quebec. This East and Northward arcuate structural pattern is also observed separating the Bienville - La Grande and the Minto - Bienville sub-provinces. The Winisk River fault itself separates the Sachigo and Winisk sub-provinces.

2. The Kapuskasing structural zone extends from south of Lake Superior in the United States, across Ontario, Quebec and up to the Torngat region in the Ungava district.

The Kapuskasing structural zone has both kimberlite and diamond occurrences along its length in Ontario and in the United States, but remains virtually untested in Quebec.

Diamond exploration activity is ongoing on the Kapuskasing structure in particular in the Torngat region of Quebec.

A Ph. D. thesis by Serge Genest, interprets a regional structural element from the Otish up to the east, coast of James Bay.

Points of interest:

All three of these regional possibly diamondiferous kimberlite localizing structures (Winisk River extension/Sakami graben, Kapuskasing structural zone and the Otish lineament), intersect in the vicinity of Wemindji.

In the Attawapiskat area, a third structural element is also involved. It is the Nottaway River - Saguenay Zone.

It is interesting to note that chromium deposits are located on the combined lineaments of Winisk River extension/Sakami graben in both Ontario and Quebec. They are in Ontario, the Bib Trout Lake deposit and in Quebec , the Pro-Or showings. On the Quebec side of the structure, there are also alkaline intrusions. Both chromium deposits and alkaline intrusions are indicative of deep structural breaks as are kimberlites.

Several linear geophysical structures are seen to parallel these diamondiferous structures just south of Wemindji in 33D/15, 16.

History: There is of significant exploration in the area of the properties.

General: Interest in the area has been sparked by the discovery by Majescor Resources of large quantities of "indicator minerals" which are pathfinders for kimberlites and fragments of kimberlite, the host rock for diamond deposits. Indicator minerals are minerals of specific chemical nature, for example G10 garnets, which are most often found in association with diamondiferous kimberlites.

Also, preliminary exploration by Dianor some 100 km to the northeast of the same structural corridor as the Majescor claims has returned zinciferous chromites which are said to have similar chemistry to chromites (as well as at least one micro diamond) found in diamond bearing lamprophyres in the Wawa area.

Globex and its partners, Aurogin and Sparton, originally staked 616 cells (the equivalent of approximately 1,850 standard unsurveyed claims) on specific targets based on structural parameters and geophysical signatures similar to those that could be found associated with kimberlites. Over 75 claim blocks were acquired each covering one or more individual kimberlite targets. 97 of the cells have been renewed following preliminary field work. The bulk of the renewed claims are in areas 33C09, 33C14, 33D16, 33F03, 33F05 and 33F14.

Note: Attached map shows original properties within the immediate area of Wemindji.

GRAND CALUMET - URANIUM DEPOSIT

Grand Calumet Uranium Fluorite Deposit
Grand Calumet Township, Quebec
NTS 31F/15

Location:
The property consists of 8 claims totalling 354.6 hectares located on lots 28 to 31 Range 7 and lots 30 to 33 Range 6, in Grand Calumet Township, Quebec, approximately 35km northwest of Hull on the Ottawa River and 2km NE of the village of Riviere-Berry.

Ownership:
The property is 100% owned by Globex Mining Enterprises Inc. and was acquired by staking.

Access:
The property is easily accessible via all weather gravel and paved roads.

History:
The property was first worked by Calumet Uranium Mines Ltd. from 1953 to 1954 during which period radiometric surveys, along with stripping and sampling were undertaken following the discovery of significant radioactivity. Based on these surveys and the positive sampling results, diamond drilling was started in the spring of 1954 and by June 1955, 20,082 feet of drilling in 39 holes had been completed.

Diamond drilling and scintillometer surveys showed two important radioactive zones with the most promising area near the intersection of two zones in lots 29 and 30, Range VII.

Further drilling was undertaken in the area with a reported 80 holes being drilled. Geological mapping, mineralogical studies, and further analysis followed with all work being completed by 1956.

Government records do not show any work being submitted since 1956, with the property remaining in the same hands most recently under the name of Albarmont Mines Corporation.

Economic Geology:
There are two main types of mineralization on the property.

The first is characterized by coarse grained and irregularly shaped fluorite- pyroxene skarns. The fluorite is dark purple and commonly contains long narrow prisms of partially altered uranothorite. Dark green pyroxene, apatite, pink calcite, scapolite, feldspar and several other minerals are also present. Associated rocks are well developed pyroxene granites, syenites and hybrids. This type of zone occurs on lots 28 to 31 inclusive, Range 7. Assays up to 4% U3O8 and 20% ThO2 have been recorded from this type of mineralization.

The second is characterized by limestone or skarn composed principally of white to salmon-pink calcite. Small amounts of diopside, lithium bearing yellow mica and chondrodite are also present.

Radioactive minerals include cubes of black uranoan thorianite and grains of red uranothorite. The rock units outcrop in a band which strikes N60BE and dips southeast of the contact between limestones and pyroxenic granites on lots 29 and 30, Range 7.

A radioactive zone extends some 500 feet on surface with a few feet of width exposed. A 1,500 pound bulk sample assayed 0.10% U3O8 and 0.15% ThO2, the radioactive minerals being uranoan, thorianite, uranothorite and monazite. The zone appears to be a calcite rich skarn which closely resembles the limestone in which it occurs. Structurally the area of the zone is complex with folding and cross-folding evident. This zone was reported to contain 490,000 tons averaging 0.05% U3O8 and 0.15% ThO2.

An odd third type of slightly radioactive mineralization occurs on the lot line of lots 28 and 29, Range 7. Here, pits have exposed sulphide rich rock which has weathered to rusty material.

(The above descriptions were paraphrased from Geological Report 80, Radioactive Mineral Occurrences of the Province of Quebec, by D.M. Shaw, 1958, pages 30 to 32 inclusive.)

The only reference to the property subsequent to 1958 is the 1983 Annual Report of Albarmont. Within, their report a possible tonnage of 1,000,000 tonnes grading 0.08% U3O8 , 0.29% ThO2 and 10-15% fluorite is indicated.

VULCAN MOUNTAIN PROJECT - PT, PD, AU   Property: The Vulcan property, also known as Gold Dike, is located in Ferry County, Washington, two miles (3 km) from the Canada-United States border and four miles (6 km) southwest of Grand Forks, British Columbia. The property consists of 8 patented claims, 34 unpatented claims, and 11 optioned unpatented claims.

Globex Nevada, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Globex, acquired a 100% interest in the property from N.A. Degerstrom, Inc.("NAD") and Gold Express Communications Inc. A 3% NSR royalty is held by Sundance Mining-Development Inc. on certain claims, of which 1% can be purchased for $500,000 after completion of a positive feasibility study. NAD holds a 2% NSR, subject to a $144,000 buy-out. Globex has posted a US$105,000 bond with the State of Washington with respect to certain environmental matters.
Geology:
Permian to Triassic sedimentary and volcaniclastic rocks occur near Danville in the northern portion of the Republic Graben. Near the Gold Dike mine, interbedded units of greenstone, argillite, limestone, and quartzite have been recrystallized to the hornblende hornfel metamorphic facies by later intrusion of Creataceous alkalic rocks of the Shasket Creek complex. The Shasket Creek alkalic complex was originally mapped as two phases: monzonite to shonkinite (with possible nepheline syenite), and syenite porphyry (a more leucocratic phase with orthoclase phenocrysts). All lithologies are also intruded by quartz monzonites of the Tertiary-aged Scatter Creek ntrusive.

Drilling and surface sampling has defined a sulfide gold zone found in association with an intensely carbonitized, pyritized and bleached rock unit, historically referred to as "Gold Dike". This zone is at least 2,000 feet long, averages 40 feet wide and has been defined to a depth of 250 feet. Drill holes grading up to 60 feet of 0.34 ounces per to gold and 80 feet of 0.27 ounces per ton gold have been reported in addition to other numerous economic intersections.
Previous Work:
Also recent sampling of copper mineralization approximately 2,000 feet south of the known gold zone has returned surprisingly high platinum and palladium values. Palladium values as high 2.24 gm/tonne were encountered in float and 1.26 gm/tonne in rock as well as platinum values up to 20.6 gm/tonne in fault gauge. Copper values were as high as 5.19%.

SUFFIELD MINE - POLYMETALLIC

Suffield Mine

Ascot Township, Quebec

NTS 21/E5

Property:                    The property is located four miles (6 km) southwest of Sherbrooke, Quebec, Canada and consists of 9 mining claims, covering 617 hectares.

Ownership:               The property is owned 100% by Globex.

Geology:                     The property is situated on the northwest flank of the overturned Sherbrooke Anticline, which is dissected by series of thrust faults. The area’s two distinctive lithological formations are the felsic to intermediate volcanics and schists of the Ordovician-aged Ascot Formation and, sediments of the Siluro-Devonian-aged Francis Group. Both units are intruded by small ultramafic, granite, diorite and lamprophyre bodies.  The property’s stratigraphic sequence, from west to east, consists of a sedimentary assemblage capped by a  thick sequence of sericite schists and porphyritic rhyolite.

Disseminated and volcanic massive sulfide mineralization occurs at a sediment-volcanic contact. Mineralization consists chiefly of sphalerite and pyrite, with lesser amounts of chalcopyrite and galena. Mineralization appears to be controlled in part by rolls and dips in the contact surface. A sample at the Silver Star Zone assayed 12.5% Cu, 408.1 g/t Ag and 46.3 g/t Au. A mineral resource of 540,000 tonnes grading 7% Zn, 0.9% Cu, 0.5% Pb, 91 g/t Ag and 0.27 g/t Au still exists at the Suffield Mine.

Previous Work:        The claim group contains two past mineral producers (the Suffield King and Howard Mines) and several prospects (the Silver Star, North Howard and No.4 Shaft zones).  The property experienced intermittent mining activities from 1863 to 1956. From 1949 to 1956, Ascot Metals Company developed the Suffield Mine No.3 Shaft.  Production totalled 600,000 tons grading 6.5% zinc, 0.8% copper, 0.45% lead, 2.5 opt silver and 0.007 opt gold. The mine closed prior to the completion of the No.4 Shaft.

SOQUEM carried out geological, geochemical and geophysical surveys and diamond drilling in 1968 and 1969.  In 1972, Lynx Canada Exploration drilled three short holes which confirmed the Suffield results. In 1985, Copper Stack Resources Ltd. completed geophysics and drill follow-up on the Silver Star zone.  A total of 2,116 feet in six drill holes were put down.  An IP survey was carried out by Spartan Mining Ltd. in 1987.

The property was optioned in 1989 by Noranda Exploration Company, Ltd., which completed a program of combined geophysical (magnetometer and VLF-EM), geochemical and geological surveying, trenching and diamond drilling for a total of 2,632 metres in 19 drill holes.  During 1990, an additional 1,627 metres of drilling was completed with four drill holes. The Noranda’s drilling encountered significant gold and base metal mineralization.

GAYHURST PROPERTY - MOLYBDENUM   Gayhurst & Dorset Townships, Quebec
NTS 21E/15
Property:
The property consist of 10 claims totalling 595 hectares situated in range IX, lots 16 to 24 inclusive, Gayhurst Township and Range XIII, Lot 1, Dorset Township, Frontenac County, Quebec.
Ownership: The property is owned 100% by Globex and was acquired in Jan. 2005.   Access: The claim area is approximately 75 miles south of Quebec city and 135 miles east of Montreal.   General Geology: The rocks of the area are made up of a folded sedimentary sequence which has been intruded by a granitic stock and associated dikes and sills of felsic rocks and molybdenum mineralization. The sedimentary rocks are only slightly metamorphosed, except near the granite intrusion where they are altered to hornfels.

Glacial moraine covers parts of the area, especially west of the granitic stock.

Molybdenum showings occur along the summit and on the southeast flank of a topographic crest extending towards the northeast of Mount Saint-Sebastien. The zone of interest is 5500 feet long and 1000 feet wide.

The highest point, topographically, is in Gayhurst Township a lot 17, range IX. Its elevation is 2540 feet, which is about 1000 feet above Drolet lake. A good road leads to the entrance of the adit on the east side of the mountain.

History: The history of this property dates back to the years 1910-1920 when many trenches were dug on lots 18 and 19 of range IX, Gayhurst Township, in an unsuccessful attempts to find gold. Around 1938, a lumber jack found pieces of rock rich in molybdenite in the rubble from the trenches. Accompanied by a prospector, he later worked the ground on lot 18. In 1941, the mining rights were transferred to Messrs. Dostie and Doyon who, in turn, optioned it to Frontenac Quarries Limited. This company shipped 40 tons of molybdenum bearing rock from lot 18 to Quyon-Molybdenite Ltd., who recovered 155 pounds of molybdenite. In 1943, lots 16 to 23 of range IX were optioned to MacMillan Prospecting Syndicate. In 1956, these lots became the property of Frontenac Mining Corporation. During the same year, a ground magnetometer survey was completed by T.H. Koulomzine counting on the magnetic properties of the pyrrhotite to outline the mineralized zones. As a follow-up to this work, 21 drill holes were completed with a total footage of 17,171 feet. In January 1961, a 1096-foot adit was driven on the south side of Mount Saint-Sebastien, at an elevation of 2148 feet above sea level. This was followed by 1038 feet of drifting in a northerly direction, a 248-foot cross-cut and another drift 184 feet long, parallel to the first drift. The total length of underground working is 2576 feet.

In 1962, the name of the company was changed to Copperstream-Frontenac Mines Ltd., and the property was optioned to Molybdenum Corporation of America. Between July 1962 and December 31st, 1963, this company sampled the underground workings and drilled 30 horizontal holes for a total footage of 3000 feet.

In 1963, Molybdenite Corp. of America did a non NI 43-101 resource calculation which reported 2,000,000 tonnes grading 0.50% MoS2.

At the beginning of 1964, Copperstream-Frontenac Mines Ltd. did underground drilling. At the end of the same year Rio Tinto Canadian Exploration Ltd. optioned the property and drilled 17 holes in the South Zone and 3 in the North Zone. In addition, the company bulk sampled 210 feet of the underground workings.

After Rio Tinto's work, Molybdenite Corp. Of Canada (a name change from America ?) Recalculated a resource of 640,000 tonnes grading 0.32% MoS2, a total similar to a calculation done by Rio Tinto (582,900 tonnes grading 0.54% MoS2).

Since 1964, no work has been undertaken on the claims.

Mineralization: The sedimentary rocks on the Copperstream property are similar to those in the rest of the region, except that the proportion of competent rocks here is greater.
According to the company, there are two main molybdenum-bearing zones, namely the North and South zones. There are located in range IX of Gayhurst Township and contain molybdenum-bearing veins up to 20 feet wide.   The North Zone cover an area 1000 feet by 450 feet in lots 22 and 23. The Copperstream-Frontenac drill logs report the existence of areas of sedimentary rocks cut by quartz veins rich in molybdenite. Examination of the core was carried out by Rémi Kelly who noted the absence of grey granite in the mineralized intersections. In the underground workings of the South Zone, the intersections are in such granite.
The South Zone is located about 3000 feet southwest of the North Zone and covers an area of about 950 feet by 360 feet in lots 18 and 19, approximately 1000 feet from the granite stock. The dip of the granite-sedimentary rock contact is considered to be nearly parallel to the plunge (45 N) of the L2 lineation, which is identified with stresses developed when the granite stock intruded the sedimentary rocks. As a result, the granite mass would come to within 600 feet of the underground workings in this zone.

FISH LAKE GOLD PROJECT   (also called South Tiblemont Zone)
Tiblemont Township, Quebec  NTS 32C/03
(Click on project name above to display location map)   Property:
The property consist of four cell fractions and one claim totalling 32 hectares located in Tiblemont Township, Quebec.   Ownership:
The claims are owned 100% by Globex Mining Enterprises Inc.   Access:
The property is located 0.8 km southeast of the south end of Fish Lake (Lac Poisson) on a good all season gravel road which extends southward from the town of Senneterre following the east side of the Bell River and leads southeast of the property to the Croinor Mine in Pershing Township, Quebec.   Geology and mineralization: The principal zone consist of a quartz stockwork within the fractures of a shear zone in the Pascalis-Tiblemont batholith.  The southeast limit of the zone  is marked by a series of felsic dykes and shears and to the northwest by a narrow, chloritic, diorite dyke.   The mineralization is disseminated in quartz veins and veinlets consisting of pyrite, pyrrhotite, sphalerite, tetrahydrite and minor amounts of galena, chalcopyrite and fine grains of gold.   Much of the recent knowledge of the zone comes from work performed by Maufort Resources Inc. In 1986, they performed a limited bulk sampling of the zone ollowed in 1987 by a geological survey, trenching, sampling and in 1988 by 81 drill holes totalling 13,635 metres.  This work resulted in a non NI-43-101, drill indicated resource of 87,000 tons grading 0.17 oz/T (5.83 g/t) to a vertical depth of 121.2 metres of which 31,000 t grading 4.1 g/t are in the Blast Zone near surface.   Information from "Fiche de gîte" 32C/03-15 of the Quebec MNR and Canadian Mines Handbook 1988-89, pg 304.
